Brain-Ring ‘’The most intelligent”. Objectives: to develop pupils’ speaking and listening skills; to develop children’s creativity , logical thinking, memory and imagination; to widen pupils’ outlook; to bring up a sense of individual and collective responsibility for the common work; to respect and support each other; to extend pupils’ knowledge about English-speaking country; to motivate the pupils for learning English.Type: brain-ring.Equipment: pictures, cards, coloured balloons, a draw for the jury ( Appendix). PROCEDURE.T. Good afternoon, dear pupils, teachers and our guests. You are wellcome to the intellectual English contest ‘’Brain-ring’’. Our aim is to show students knowledge not only of English but Literature and Geography as well, to widen outlook and encourage students to speak. I’m sure you’ve got much information about this wonderful country at our English lessons. And now you’ll have a good opportunity to show your knowledge by taking part in our competition.
